Old Friend

Tasha Yorga was my best friend when we were growing up in Kingston. We lost touch when we both moved shortly before high school. After a number of years of searching the net and municipal records, I finally caught up with her last weekend. Now married, Natasha Sharpe is amazingly similar to the girl I knew as a child. Smart, determined and still questioning everything.

As an outside observer, Tasha's recollections of my family are disturbingly accurate. Her unique pespective spotted many things which due to my proximity I had completely missed. It is spooky to talk with someone who knows more about you than you know about yourself.
