GD Graphics Library

30 December 2002

[GD demonstration] On the weekend I finally got around to tackling a major blind spot in my programming skills: the ability to generate and modify images programatically.

The image on the left is dynamically generated by this Perl script which uses the GD.pm module to interface with the GD Graphics Library.

Each image is randomly generated based on a recursive algorithm I developed a couple of years ago. Some images are pretty, some are boring, but all are unique.
