OV-105

21 September 2012

Today was the last time a Space Shuttle will ever fly. Endeavour (OV-105) took a ride on the back of one of NASA's 747 aircraft to Los Angeles where she will become a museum exhibit. On the way, she passed over San Francisco. I skipped work and waited on Treasure Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay to take some photos. (Click to embiggen.)

Flying over the San Francisco skyline.

Passing behind the Bay Bridge.

Orbiting Coit Tower.

Next to the Transamerica Pyramid.
