Greig Street Bridge

1881, iron suspension, pedestrian bridge.

[Greig Street Bridge over the River Ness] Featured on countless postcards and tourist brochures, this pedestrian crossing is the icon for Inverness. Although considerably more solid than it's smaller upstream sibling (the Infirmary Bridge) the Greig Street Bridge undulates noticeably when more than a couple of people are crossing it at once.

[Crieg Street Bridge lit up at Christmas] During the Christmas season the Greig Street Bridge is lit up with rope lights and other decorations.
