Friars Bridge

1987, pre-stressed concrete arches, road bridge.

[Friars Bridge over the River Ness] The Friars Bridge forms today's main road crossing across the river Ness. It was built to route traffic around the impossibly congested town centre.

[Underside of the Friars Bridge] The Friars Bridge is actually two identical bridges side by side.
