This entertaining pedestrian bridge bounces and sways alarmingly. During periods of heavy use (such as Guy Fawkes day) police constables are posted on opposite sides of the bridge to keep the number of people on the bridge to ten or less at any given time.
Children love to jump on the bridge to increase the undulations.

The stability problems stem from the bridge's aspect ratio and lack of bracing. Same problem as the Tachoma Narrows bridge, so far not with the same results.
