Car Fire

Twinkle twinkle little car, burning bright upon the tar.     Not a scratch on any tire,     engine block wrapped up in fire. Twinkle twinkle little car, methinks you drove a bit too far.

[The photo isn't mine; it's yanked from the 'net. But it perfectly depicts a flaming vehicle we passed on the commute to work. The poem just seemed to compose itself.]

While handing off the pager to a co-worker I mentioned the addictive Tetris game on it. She recalled playing Tetris on her Gameboy in grade 5. Gameboy in grade 5?!? When I was in grade 5 my computer used 8-inch floppy disks. Sigh.

Ok, now I'm going to get indignant emails from the slide-rule crowd...
