While cycling to work early Tuesday morning I stopped briefly at a red light. There was a crazy guy on the corner, stumbling around in circles, mumbling to himself. He glanced over at me and said "Hi Neil!" I looked at his sunken eyes, mentally removed the beard, photoshopped away the premature wrinkles and attempted to match him against various former friends who had ended up in the wrong crowd. Nobody matched. Then I noticed him glance at the ID badge clipped to my belt. The light turned green and I cycled off.
