Crossing26 October 2017 A neigbour threw out this piece of scrap plywood. I grabbed it and cut a pair of slots using a tablesaw with its blade mostly retracted. A large diameter drill bit makes some nice curves. And a bandsaw cuts out the rough shape. A bandsaw with a smaller blade cuts out the connecting notches. Beverly now has a crossing for her wooden trains. I also made a pair of buffers at the same time. As always, I'm thankful to be able to use Google's workshops for personal projects. |
